Installing Multiflex Child Theme JEDI Method
The JEDI install method will install the full demo website. This is the easiest and quickest way to install this child theme. In case this method doesn’t work for you then you can do the manual installation.
Requirements
Before we begin, make sure you have Divi installed on WordPress before installing this child theme. Do this on a fresh WordPress installation.
The Divi theme is not included in this package. To download Divi, you must have an Elegant Themes Membership.
Most of the images have been replaced due to licensing.
Most links have been removed, so you need to relink those to the right pages.
Step 1
Download and unzip the ‘Multiflex_Child_Theme_UNPACKME.zip’ file to your computer.
Step 2
In your WordPress dashboard navigate to Appearance > Themes and click on Add New.
Locate the multiflex-demo-import.zip file in the Multiflex_Child_Theme_UNPACKME > Method Jedi folder on your computer and then click Install Now.
When the install is complete click on ‘Activate’, you will then see the Multiflex Child Theme as the active theme in your theme panel.
Step 3
In your dashboard there is now a new option visible on the left side “Multiflex Demo Import”.
Go to Multiflex Demo Import > Easy Demo Import.
Everything should be checked.
This will overwrite all existing content!
Click on Import Demo Content.
Step 4
Now you need to install one extra plugin. Because this free plugin is not in the WordPress Plugin Directory, we need to do it manually.
In your Dashboard go to Plugins > Add New then click on Upload Plugin.
Go to the Multiflex_Child_Theme_UNPACKME > Method Jedi folder on your computer and click on divi-100-article-card.zip.
After installing, activate the plugin.
Step 5
In your dashboard there is now a new option visible on the left side “Divi 100”.
Go to Divi 100 and enable ACTIVATE ARTICLE CARD
Go to Settings > Sticky Menu (or Anything!)
In the sticky element field, add the following #stickybar
In the field, Do not stick element when screen smaller than: (optional) fill in 981

Top header
The top header is disabled in the visual builder because it doesn’t work with it.
To edit the top header go to Divi > Divi library and open the Top Header Global. You can make your edits here.

Creating a blog post
To create a blog post with the same layout as Multiflex you do the following:
Go to Posts > Add New
Go to Load From Library > Add From Library and choose Single post.
In the right upper right corner, you find the Divi Post Settings. Make the following adjustments:
Page Layout: Full Width
Post Title: Hide

Important
Place in the excerpt box the text that you want to show on the blog page or blog grid page.
You find this box under the Divi page builder in the post page.

404 Page
To edit the content of the 404 page, you go to Divi > Divi Library.
Then you open the 404 page. You can make your edits here.
Search result page
Multiflex has a custom designed Search result page.
In order to show a decent excerpt in the results, you have to add them to the pages.
Open a page and scroll down to the excerpt box. Place the text in this box that you want to show up on the search result page.
